Well Most of us older members from the EZboard version know each other, but don't let that stop you from Introducing yourself to the board! New members, we'd like to hear from you as well. Drives folks crazy when they don't know if they are talking to a male or female, and it's always interesting to know where people are from so please indulge us...just a little 'K?

Hi I'm Blackbear aka Jolie! I am one of the three Administrators for this site. Occasionally I might sound a bit power trippy, but most of the time it's only in jest. If I actually have a problem with a post or it's contents or attachements, I will most definitely email you with the reason why for it's removal ok?
I'm short , fat and I like to have fun cause my life is too boring (other than my 5 year old daughter's antics which I spout off enough of) so when I go out..I make the most of it! LOL!
I live in Alaska in the city that not the capital even though most think it is. I'm married, in my thirties and drive a Hyundai Elantra named Ennit. I have four guinea pigs, 3 females and one it (I did it to him.. he forgave me, you should too.) I like a wide variety of music, but alternative, punk and folk are the tops on my list. And I don't get mad when asked what the weather is like here LOL!

ey this is Sandra! I am a 24 year old full blooded Seneca from the Tuscarora Rez. I've been married for about 2.5 months so far to a handsome Tuscarora man, and I am a second year law student. Sekon has been helping me with my homework, so we agreed to share the J.D. when I get it :)
I've been around these folks over a year now, and they are a real cool bunch. Many of them have known each other from the Tuscaroras.com boards from way back. I got to hang out with lots of them over the month of July since they have their annual "convention" up my way every year. Anyway, it's fun if you stick around and get to know everyone!
I have lots of obsessive hobbies, which you will probably hear a lot of on these boards. I diet obsessively and never manage to lose a signifiacnt amount (I dont consider myself HUGE, but I do have X amt of pounds to lose LOL) I also binge excessively and love every minute of it
Sex and the City is a TV show I love and cannot stop talking about , I also love figure skating, Sasha Cohen is my favorite, and I love to shop, so Naturally I love to read fashion magazines and spend endless hours in the malls. I also love to travel, I have been to Thailand, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, Cancun, D.C> I still need to hit NYC, Carribean and Europe- OH AND ALASKA. I also like to drink wine and beer on occasion. Like tonight, Im bowling on the Antone's Smoke Shop league so perhaps I will indulge in a glass of wine or two :):burg:buzzys:gimme

Quiz: can anyone guess the location that my avatar describes - Hint: it is one of my very favorite places to hunt!

Hello I am Craig I have some Native blood but am predominantly white. I am the third admin here however I will be administering little and plugging leaks a lot in this beta program we are using. If something goes wrong it is my fault. :bang

At one time I made my living working with, on and programming these things however I am retired and no longer up to date so I am learning just how this thing is operated just as some of you are.

I like Corn Soup, Navajo Tacos, Frybread with sugar or Maple Cream. Pow wows, Socials, walking in the woods, good Native Flute music, Listening to and learning from Elders. I am said to be overly protective of my Friends and have no plans to change that one bit.

Rj: The grocery store? lol

Hey all I'm Jammer a friend of jolie's. She gave me the invite and since I never really used the old board I figured I might as well jump on this since its new. I'm what you would call your basic now aday half breed. My mothers white and my fathers native. And I'm damn proud of both! I live in the lovely(hacking) state of Indiana where the weather never seems to stop amazing us. I'm at the ripe young age of 23 so I have alot to learn, so if I start over talking myself just slap me a few times(although I might like it a little to much) and I'll snap back into reality. Well this would be the extent to my being everything else is irrelevant and subject to change without notice (I could only wish).

I will do that when I am out there again. Must be a growing congregation! It's gonna look real weird to me. Last time I saw it, and that would be like 30 years ago, it was a cozy, adorable small town church. I also remember we used to get free little bottles of coke out of a soda machine in the kitchen cause it never worked right. Guess we weren't the best little christians now were we? :blush

And Bear we have to do something about those smiles. Now there is one that is dysfunctional in the icon's.

I guess I'd better do an intro for those who aren't familiar with me. (Took me long enough, eh?)

I'm known as Bluez but my real name is Mary. I'm the globetrotter around here and am not in one place for too long. Right now I am staying in Florida taking care of elder parents and preparing for the birth of my first born sometime in Dec/Jan.

I'm Mohawk/Sac&Fox/French and work in the medical field. I support all indigenous language preservation projects, work with one of my brothers(now living in Texas) for AIM causes and lobby for Juvenile Diabetes research.

Okay...okay...I'm finally going to do the introduction thingie.

My name is Sekon, it's a nickname because of my limited and lousy ability to speak Mohawk. I couldn't get the word "Sekon" to come out right, so my dear cousins christened me with the nickname, after they picked themselves off the floor laughing at my expense. I am a St. Regis/Akwesasne Mohawk, Turtle clan.

I am an original Tcommer. I am proud to say my big mouth gave my dear friend, Loren, (Mohawk2000, owner of Tcom, and the Tuscarora.com websites) many sleepless nights and moments of wanting to pull his (and mine) hair out. :nyah:nyah:nyah

Oh, one more thing.....Jazzy is insanely jealous of me! :nyah

She:kon Saswekon,

Long time no see, I been missing everyone :)

For those who dont know me:
I am a 33 year old Mohawk/German/who-knows-what-else female. I am originally from St Regis Mohawk Territory and Massena NY area. I live/work/travel extensively in the USA and Canada since I was a very young teenager.

My main goals and work include developing proprietory innovative technologies

(artificial intelligence, virtual humans, bots, speech technologies, robotics, linguistics, mobile technologies, wireless, social engineering, internet/network security)

to preserve, learn, teach, and practice endangered langagues with the relevant culture - mainly north american native languages.

I am always searching for knowledge, history, and teachings from our past, present, and future elders and teachers. I live to learn and love to learn as much as I can.

My other main interest includes brain sciences, and as an aging adult I am putting as much accurate knowledge about our ancestors into my A.I. brains to be preserved for multi-modal business, educational, and personal web/software applications that will provide our future generations with incentives to easily preserve, teach, practice our native ancestors' teachings - knowledge - languages as easily as the english language and anglo cultures have been doing for many years now with computers, handhelds, cell-phones, gadgets, robots, dolls, toys, and more.

I am always looking for and welcome people that wish to work together on projects that benefit native communities - especially the reservations.

I followed directions, given by beagood from ezboard, to this site. I am of Native descent, learning Native values and traditions, and have interests in history, music, language, and gardening.
