Stuffing recipes

I made stuffing on Thanksgiving- I finally was happy with the result. Anyone like to share a good stuffing recipe?

Cut up 2 onions and a whole thing of celery
heat chopped onions and celery in 1 lb of butter

tear up five loaves of unsliced bread
pour butter mixture over it

Add salt, pepper and sage to taste, and 2 cans of chicken broth

cook in a slow cooker

Man that slow cooker idea sounds like the answer to the Turkey breast issue. About how long did it take in the slow cooker and was it on hi or low heat. Also instead of Chicken Broth why not use Turkey Broth?

I did 2 hours on high, but I was in a hurry. They don't sell turkey broth in a can, I think???

I am doing my first turkey over New Years. Always nice to have a recipe to start with! I'll keep ya posted on how it turns out!

|they DO sell turkey broth in a can.. just gotta look really hard for it. If not in a can then look for the jar o broth. Or better yet.. go buy stove top turkey stuffing LOL

man I don't want folks to think all we talk about is low cal snacks... anyone else have any stuffing recipes? Mine is to open a box of stove top, but I have made real stuffing before, I just can't tell you what the measurements of what all I used in it were..I'm not the measuring kinda person if you know what I mean.
A friend of mine used to make a pork tenderloin stuffing to do for, using portabella mushrooms and walnuts in it. Anyone got one similar? I need a good pork stuffing recipe
