Sekon (Greetings)

I am here at Kanatakon at the Akwesasne Mohawk Nation (in Canada and New York USA) - I am Wolf Clan and a Mohawk. I am glad I found this site. I was just searching the Web for info on Stan Hill when I somehow (don't remember exactly how) I came upon this place. I am looking for a carving by him to give to my daughter on her birthday. She is the legal advisor for the Mohawk Nation (traditional). I would love to use colors and stuff to dress this up, but I am pretty lucky that I can get online by myself - I think computer knowledge was somehow nature to those born after their conception - but for us "older" people - it is one heckuva a challenge sometimes. When I first started to use my daughter's computer, she would come home from college and it would take her hours to undo what I did to it LOLOL! Talk to you all later/

Sekon,
I am looking for Stan Hill, Sr's work - Since his recent passing, it has been hard to find any at the different shops on the USA side anyway - they all sold out immediately. By the way, Thank you niawen for the welcom and io. Even his pendants would be welcomed.

Onenkiwahi,

She:kon, iioteraswwiio.
I'm an Akwesasne Mohawk, too. Turtle clan. Though, I didn't grow up there, either, I was there most summers, and spent the first year of life there at my grandma Leaf's homestead. You may know some of my family, there's a whole lot of them there. My mother would have enjoyed having another "older" to speak with, especially when she discovered the net at 71 years young, about two years ago. She was a typical St. Regis Mohawk, blunt, funny, and with loads of common horse sense.

My uncle Wilfred passed away last week there on Cornwall Island, he was Wolf Clan, too. Did you know him?

Anyways, you are very welcomed here.
