Hey all... these are some pics of my beagles

There is butchy who is 13" tall and about 7 years old
then there is spot who is 14.5" tall and about 5 years old
and finally the patriarch of the group is Rowdy. Rowdy is a 17" tall beagle, and about 14 years old- running rabbits all his life up until the beginning of January of this year.

All good rabbit dogs, yes indeed. I just need to find at least one more... that would be nice.

I agree; they are fine looking hunters and a fourth would round out your pack nicely. Would your daughter still be aching for another cat?

LOL! She is still aching for a cat- she has the idea that since I have 3 dogs then she can have 3 cats !!! I couldn't deal with 3 cats- one cat is bad enough but 3??? Next month may be the time to get one cat- but only one .... I hope....

Heey.. now.. LOL!! I have 5 cats! Whatch'ya talk'n about Rich?? LOL!
(Musty, Scooter, Blue, Tomi & Tiger = 4 girls & 1 boy (Blue)).

Besides 3 ferrets .. LOL!!

Yikes - 5 cats???!!!! Cats freak me out- they seem so secretive about everything :)

I owned a cat once - took it on since it needed refuge - the previous owner was going to give it up to the SPCA- so I figured - maybe it would be cool to have a cat around...

Nope- not cool- weird, that cat would not sleep at night- run around the apartment (I lived alone at the time) and make all kinds of noise- it drove me crazy!!!

I remember trying to sleep one evening and it seemed that cat was running on the ceiling - it was weird- I gave that cat back...

One cat is enough if that cat is a character. I had a character for eighteen years. My friends and acquaintenances would share their stories and experiences about my cat with one another. My grandmother hated cats but her friends in another state knew all about my cat and the things he would do.

He would come when he was called. He "talked" incessantly. Was very fat (20+ lbs) before Garfield made it cool. Preferred the company of people over other animals. One cat can be plenty.

However, owning numerous beagles is almost a necessity.
