Not sure what you are talking about.. are you possibly talking about when you see two strands of beads twisted around each other in a chain like fashion???

THANK YOU Craig!!!!

:smoochies and a big toothy GRIN!!! The last link to beadweaver dreams was the tutorial I was needing....this is obviously why when you're sick someone should take your computer off ya! I googled an googled an couldn't find a chart for morons.....LOL!!!!

Will be using 15's for the most of it with 11's as the larger bead. YEEEE-HAWWWW!!!!!
:ghug:

An Blackbear I backed my very first beaded cab for earings.....an 'cept for trimming the backing too close for anything but a three bead whip-stitch edging it came out great! I'm finally almost over my fear of "finishing".
:roflmao:

Also found cute 3 inch horsehair tassels sold at JoAnns fabric for another piece I'm still putzing with....Life is GOOD AGAIN!!!
(their from Tandy Leather)

Craig....once again your a true livesaver!

KICKASS!! Yeah I saw the first link that Craig posted and was gonna say it just looks like two spiral rope chains twisted together LOL.. but glad he found what you were looking for. I should set up bead information here and terminology... i would write a book on it, but there are enough books out there with the same.. but we could use it here don't you think?

That would be JUST FANTASTIC Blackbear.....Idiot's guide to Beading!
GRIN....

Also learnt how to do a beaded basket using dutch spiral....totally simple an looks sharp. Don't see to many of those for sale but they look like little money-makers for those of you that sell stuff...
Probably get 2/3rds of what you'd get for a little quill work basket.
Not shabby!

:rolls
Almost forgot....the beady group was teaching us the cab's using "stiffy felt" .59 per sheet at Joann's or michaels crafts. Glueing the cab onto that and then glueing the leather on the back.
The felt is ridgid enough, but you can bead like butter right thru the stuff!
Didn't know if anyone here had tried it yet. It eliminates the plastic or card stock step.
